Hi! I work in retail as a coordinator/supervisor. I deal with customer problems, ensure the line is going smoothly, and manage the break schedule and overall make sure everything at the cash registers is running smoothly. Could you help me with one positive, impactful sentence?

“I help individuals restore their health, prevent disease & promote wellness through performing detailed physical assessment, diagnosing & treating those under my care.” How does that sound? Needs some editing. This was my rough draft.

Read all the previous answers, but have my own vision.

I literally HATE to realize that somebody sells me something right now. In common sense, to sell means to make an impact on the decision. So there are basically 2 approaches: affect the person or lead to the solution.

But, anyway, we need to introduce ourselves. I have 3 rules:

    Be laconic.
Customize this one-sentence intro depending on who you are talking to.
The formula can be like “ I am {NAME}, {TITLE} at {COMPANY}, where we{VALUE FOR YOUR INTERVIEWER DESCRIPTION WITH SOME PROOF OF SUCCESS}.
So, that’s an intro, I’m not selling anything. So far.

And then I forget the word “I” and “my company”. After an intro, it makes sense to focus on a prospect, let him/her share his/her pain, discuss future plans and needs, constraints. And ofc ask 2–3–5 (not more at this stage) questions that somehow show that you are an expert in this field.

Then – give an immediate value (some advice)

    Define common next steps

Follow up, ask questions and give more value

    And close the deal
